All instruction is free, but only members can fly and be
instructed to fly.
The best way to experience gliding is to join as a temporary member.
The temporary membership
lasts for 28 days and starts on payment of £25 and signing the
"Membership Application/ declaration of Medical Fitness" form. The temporary member is then entitled to one
trial lesson of maximum 20 minutes duration. For the period of
the temporary membership you are able to take further flights at club rates. In addition, if you decide to take up gliding as a hobby and
learn to fly glider, then the joining fee is waived when you join during the
month of the temporary membership.
